Mobile money payments: countries and operators
Pay for Tchavi credits with mobile money (MTN MoMo, Orange Money, M-Pesa, Airtel Money, Moov Money, Free Money, Zamtel) in 12 African countries, no bank card needed.
Tchavi only accepts mobile money. No Visa or Mastercard is requested at any step. You enter the amount you want, confirm the payment on your phone, and the credits reach your account in under a minute.
Deposits go through PawaPay, an aggregator connected directly to mobile money operators. The table below is the list that is actually live as of its last update; the country selector at the top of the dashboard is authoritative for today's list.

What you pay
Credits cost the same in every country: 0.33 F per credit (9,000 credits for 3,000 CFA francs), regardless of the amount you top up. Outside the CFA zone the amount is converted to your currency at the day's rate, with a 2% FX margin to absorb the operator's spread. The exact amount is shown before you confirm.

How a payment works
- In Billing, enter the amount you want to add (minimum 1,000 F).
- Select your country and operator, then enter the phone number linked to the mobile money account.
- You receive a confirmation request on that phone (USSD prompt or a notification in the operator's app). Approve it with your PIN.
- Credits are added automatically as soon as the operator confirms, usually within 60 seconds. If confirmation is slow, the payment stays pending and you can follow its status on the Billing page.
Credits are never granted from the browser: the aggregator's signed notification is what triggers the credit, which rules out double crediting and fraud.

My country is not listed. Email support@tchavi.com with your country and operator. Coverage follows the aggregator's and widens regularly.
Can I pay by bank card? Not at the moment. Mobile money is the only payment method.
I was debited but did not receive my credits. Check the Billing page first: the payment may still be awaiting confirmation. If nothing changes after a few minutes, send your operator's transaction reference to support@tchavi.com.
Can I pay from a country other than my account's? Yes. The country you select at payment time sets the operator and currency, regardless of your account address.
