    Credits are billed per token, to a thousandth of a credit, with no minimum per request. For a typical message (500 tokens in, 150 out), Budget models (GPT-5 Nano) cost about 0.2 credits, Standard (Claude Haiku) about 3, Pro (Claude Sonnet) about 8, and Premium (Claude Opus) about 14. You choose the model that fits your need.

    Yes! The Tchavi API is 100% OpenAI-compatible. Just change the base_url and your API key — the rest of your code stays the same.

    Tchavi is a transparent proxy: your request latency = the provider's native latency + ~50-150ms added by our authentication, credit, and rate-limiting middlewares.
